Elián Gimelli is a German-Italian cinematographer born in the Canary Islands.
He started out filming skate, surf and parkour videos in his early years, which would shape his interest in filmmaking.
Already familiarised with self-taught cinematography, he attended to "Instituto del Cine de Canarias" and specialised in Cinematography, while working on small sets as a junior DP.
Now, based in Barcelona, he works on a large variety of projects, from Music Videos and Commercials, to Fiction Short Films.
